GrimmSpeed Phenolic Thermal Spacer 8mm Subaru WRX STI LGT FXT 2002-2014

The GrimmSpeed 8mm Phenolic Thermal Manifold Spacer greatly reduces the transfer of heat from the engine to the intake manifold, thus reducing heat soak. Made from true Phenolic material, not cutting board material, it can withstand over 500 degrees Fahrenheit and conducts 300-900 times less heat than the OEM steel gasket. Testing has shown an over 44-degree Fahrenheit drop in intake manifold temperature with the 8mm spacers. This direct bolt-on part is safe to use with race fuel, E85, and methanol. GrimmSpeed recommends using two sets of their gaskets, one on both sides of the spacers. This product is made in the USA.
