Description

The ZPE GripTec blower pulley is a V2 coated upgrade designed to tweak boost levels on LT5 superchargers. This pulley is specifically intended for use with the ZPE hub system and is available for purchase separately or as part of a pulley and hub combo. The ZPE hub itself includes 10 titanium screws for enhanced strength and reduced weight. Constructed from billet 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, this pulley is stronger and harder than those made from 6061-T6. The unique GripTec micro-machining technology applied during the manufacturing process ensures maximum grip force on the supercharger belt without causing damage. This technology effectively eliminates belt slip, ensuring that all of the engine's power is transferred to the supercharger via the pulley. The pulley features 11 ribs and a Type III anodized, Class 2, hard coat finish in black. This GripTec pulley is compatible with the C7 Corvette ZR1 models equipped with the LT5 supercharger. It offers a cost-effective method to increase power by altering the supercharger's spin rate.
