The HKS GT Extension Kit is a high-performance exhaust component designed for Nissan Silvia S14 and S15 models with SR20DET engines. This kit is constructed from durable SUS304 stainless steel, ensuring longevity and resistance to corrosion. It features a 70mm pipe diameter, which is optimized to smooth exhaust gas flow from the turbine to the front pipe, reducing secondary exhaust gas pressure and improving overall turbocharger efficiency. It is engineered to work with the GT570 and GT600 racing packages and can be utilized for time attack vehicles that employ a straight-type catalytic converter setup. The kit includes left and right bank extensions to ensure proper fitment and function. Installation notes indicate that the stock heat insulator may need to be removed or modified for proper fitment on some applications.
