GT Pro Coilover System

The Ksport GT Pro Coilover Kit is engineered for the 1989-1993 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 AWD, providing a significant upgrade in suspension performance for both street and track use. This system features an inverted monotube design, which moves the gas/oil chamber away from the knuckle and braking system to reduce heat transfer. This design, coupled with large 55mm shock bodies, enhances cooling efficiency and dissipates heat better than twin-tube designs, leading to improved ride quality and reliability. The GT Pro coilovers offer a substantial 36 levels of adjustable damping, allowing drivers to precisely dial in their suspension for optimal handling and comfort. The adjustment affects both compression and rebound simultaneously. The use of pillowball upper mounts on many applications provides a more direct connection to the road and allows for camber adjustability, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. The "hi-low" adjustable lower mount system ensures that ride height can be adjusted without sacrificing suspension travel, preventing bottoming out. Materials and construction are focused on durability and performance. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to resist rust and corrosion, and heavy-duty steel lower mounts offer increased strength under stress. All metal pillowballs are incorporated for enhanced durability and steering response, though some minor noise increase compared to OEM rubber components is normal. Ksport includes a dust boot to protect the damper seal and integrates the bump stop within it for greater efficiency. This kit comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. The spring rates are 8.7 kg/mm (front) and 7.2 kg/mm (rear). Front upper mounts are pillowball, and rear upper mounts are aluminum top mounts.
