The Kakimoto Racing GT1.0Z Racing muffler exhaust system is engineered for competition and track use, featuring a completely straight-through design for maximum performance and an ultra-lightweight construction. Crafted from SUS304 stainless steel with a 1mm pipe thickness, this system is one of the lightest available. The GT1.0Z Racing system boasts a main pipe diameter of 80mm, a main silencer diameter of 130mm, and a tail diameter of 90mm, finished with an attractive blue tail tip. Its clamp mounting design further contributes to weight reduction. The system's noise output is rated at a maximum of 108 dB and 87 dB at idle for both GC8 and GF8 chassis with the EJ20 engine. This cat-back exhaust system is specifically designed for the Subaru Impreza GC8 and GF8 models equipped with the EJ20 engine, covering a wide range of applications from November 1992 to August 2000, including WRX and STI variants with 4WD and either 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions. It is noted as a competition-specific product and may be prohibited for street use in Japan.
