The Lingenfelter GT1-1 LS Series Camshaft (Part Number L210075297) is a performance-driven camshaft engineered for GM Gen III & IV V8 engines. It boasts a 229/242 duration at .050 lift and .631/.631 lift with a 1.7 rocker, on a 114 lobe separation angle. This camshaft is manufactured by Competition Cams to Lingenfelter's precise specifications, utilizing induction-hardened cores to ensure exceptional durability and a long service life. It is explicitly stated as being suggested for use in vehicles equipped with six-speed manual transmissions. For automatic transmission applications, it is only recommended with a loose torque converter. This camshaft is compatible with GM Gen III & IV V8 engines, but it specifically excludes applications that utilize Displacement On Demand (DOD) or camshaft phaser systems. The firing order for this camshaft is 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3, following standard GM V8 cylinder numbering. Installation may require additional components such as a camshaft install kit and potentially upgraded valve springs and timing sets for optimal performance and reliability.
