Description

The Lingenfelter GT12 LS Series Camshaft is engineered for GM Gen III & IV V8 engines, excluding Displacement On Demand (DOD) and camshaft phaser applications. With 227/235 degrees duration at .050 lift and .614/.621 lift using a 1.7 rocker, this camshaft is designed to produce excellent power. It features a 115 CL lobe separation, contributing to a great muscle car sound and an aggressive idle, yet it offers acceptable street manners for daily driven vehicles equipped with either an automatic or six-speed manual transmission. This camshaft is suitable for LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 engines with 350 CID to 427 CID displacement. It is ground by Competition Cams to Lingenfelter specifications on induction-hardened cores for durability. While it can be installed straight up in stock LS1, LS2, LS3, or LS6 engines without piston modification, advancing or retarding it with stock pistons is not recommended. Spring and retainer upgrades are a must when installing this camshaft.
