Overview

The Garrett GT1544V is a turbocharger designed for Hyundai and Kia diesel engines. It features a VNT (Variable Vane Turbocharger) system and a pneumatic actuator.

This turbocharger is compatible with various Hyundai Accent, Getz, and i30 models, as well as the Kia Rio, all equipped with 1.5L or 1.6L Common Rail diesel engines (D4FA, D4FB). It includes a gasket kit for installation.

The Garrett GT1544V is a genuine OEM replacement turbocharger engineered for specific Hyundai and Kia diesel applications. This unit utilizes Variable Vane Turbocharger (VNT) technology for optimized boost control and features a pneumatic actuator for precise operation. Designed for Hyundai Accent (2006-2007, 2012-2013 Active CRDi), Getz (2006-2011), and i30 (2012 onwards), as well as the Kia Rio (2010-2012), this turbocharger is built for the D4FA and D4FB 1.5L/1.6L Common Rail diesel engines. This turbocharger comes with a gasket kit included. A critical note for installation: this turbocharger has the O2 sensor fitted in the exhaust pipe. If your vehicle's O2 sensor is located in the turbine housing, a different part number (4003-03265) is required. This turbocharger replaces numerous OEM part numbers including 282012A100, 28201-2A100, 28201A120, 28201-A120, 28201-2A400, and 282012A400, as well as previous versions like 740611-0001 and 740611-5001S.
