Overview

The Lingenfelter GT19 LS Series Camshaft is a performance camshaft designed for GM Gen III & IV V8 engines. It features 227/239 duration at .050 lift and .678/.688 lift with a 1.8 rocker and 114 CL. This camshaft is engineered to produce excellent power with a noticeable idle, specifically for 427 CID LS7 ZO6 Corvette applications with manual transmissions.

Lingenfelter has extensively dyno-tested this camshaft profile, making it one of the best street camshafts available for the LS7 engine. It is also included in Lingenfelter's LS7 616 HP & 630 HP engine packages. The GT19 camshaft is suitable for daily-driven C6 Corvette ZO6 models and can also be used in other 427 CID LS7 applications with manual or automatic transmissions (requiring a loose torque converter).

The Lingenfelter GT19 LS Series Camshaft is a high-performance upgrade engineered for GM Gen III & IV V8 engines, excluding Displacement On Demand (DOD) and camshaft phaser applications. It boasts a 227/239 duration at .050 lift and .678/.688 lift with a 1.8 rocker and a 114 CL lobe separation angle. Extensive engine dyno testing conducted at Lingenfelter has resulted in the development of this camshaft profile, positioning it as a top-tier street camshaft for 427 CID LS7 ZO6 Corvette applications paired with a six-speed manual transmission. It is the same camshaft featured in Lingenfelter's renowned LS7 616 HP and 630 HP engine packages, signifying its proven performance capabilities. The GT19 camshaft is optimized for daily driven C6 Corvette ZO6 vehicles and is also compatible with other 427 CID LS7 cylinder head and intake setups, whether they utilize manual transmissions or automatic transmissions with a loose torque converter. Installation of this camshaft requires upgrades to the valve springs and retainers. It is designed to be installed in LS7 engines without necessitating modifications to the stock pistons. Each Lingenfelter camshaft is precision ground by Competition Cams to Lingenfelter's exacting specifications, utilizing induction-hardened cores to ensure superior durability and longevity. The firing order for compatible engines is 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3, following standard GM V8 cylinder numbering.
