GT2 Supercharger System Pro

The HKS GT2 Supercharger System Pro is designed as a significant bolt-on power upgrade for the 2013-2021 Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86 models equipped with the FA20 engine. It employs a Roots-type twin-screw supercharger, which delivers boost instantaneously from low RPM, eliminating the lag often associated with turbochargers. This mechanical drive ensures immediate power delivery, complementing the FA20's natural responsiveness. The system features a Lysholm-type twin-screw rotor pair with a 2.0-liter displacement, driven at approximately 2.4 times the engine speed. At 7,000 RPM, the rotor speed reaches around 16,800 RPM. The kit generates 7-8 psi of boost and, with a proper ECU tune, can achieve peak power outputs of 228-235 wheel horsepower. It includes a front-mount air-to-air intercooler with a rated charge temperature reduction of 45-55°C. This comprehensive kit includes the supercharger unit, intercooler, intake piping, and all required hardware for installation. However, it does not include the ECU calibration. A professional tune is mandatory for proper operation and optimal performance, utilizing either the HKS Velocity Advanced Computer or a compatible ECU management solution. Professional installation is also required. The HKS GT2 Supercharger System Pro is specifically engineered for the 2013-2021 Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86. The data preset to the HKS Flash Editor is for manual transmission vehicles and is not compatible with automatic transmission vehicles.
