Description

The Garrett GT2871R Turbocharger is engineered for medium frame applications, making it an ideal upgrade for imports and sport compact vehicles. It supports a broad horsepower range from 280 to 460 hp, making it suitable for engines with displacements between 1.8L and 3.0L. This unit features a 52 trim standard wheel and comes complete with an internal wastegate and actuator. However, it's important to note that certain turbine housing options may result in the omission of the internal wastegate actuator. Customers can choose from various inlet and outlet configurations, including T25, T3, and V-Band options, to match specific plumbing requirements. The GT2871R is a performance-oriented turbocharger, and as such, professional installation is recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Proper exhaust manifold, downpipe, and fueling modifications may be necessary to fully utilize the capabilities of this turbocharger.
