The Garrett GT3071R Ball Bearing Turbo is a high-performance turbocharger assembly engineered for small displacement 4-cylinder engines, offering superior response and faster spool times. This authentic Garrett unit features a 71mm compressor wheel with a 56 trim and a 60mm turbine wheel with an 84 trim, enabling it to support up to 480 horsepower. The advanced GT series design provides greater efficiency, improved reliability, reduced shaft movement, and better flow dynamics compared to older turbo technologies. Key internal components include a dual stainless steel ball bearing cartridge for enhanced durability and reduced friction, along with oil and water cooling for optimal thermal management. The turbo is available with a selection of compressor housing sizes, ranging from compact 2.75" inlet/2.00" outlet to a larger T04S with a 4" inlet and 2.50" outlet. Turbine housing options include various A/R ratios (.63, .78, .82, 1.06) and flange types (K24/K26, T25, T3, T4, TiAL V-Band), allowing for extensive customization to match specific engine builds and performance goals.
