GT3076R Turbo Kit

The ATP Turbo GT3076R Turbo Kit provides a significant performance upgrade for Subaru WRX/STI models, utilizing the benchmark Garrett GT Ball Bearing GT3076R for over 500 HP capability. This internally gated kit is designed for a drop-in installation, replacing the stock VFXX unit with minimal complexity, estimated at 1-2 hours. The kit features a Garrett factory-assembled dual ball bearing CHRA housed in CNC-machined, ported housings optimized for maximum flow and efficiency. All necessary oil and coolant supply components are included to seamlessly integrate the Garrett GT turbo with the EJ engine, ensuring an OE-like fit. Complementary components like a high-flowing bellmouth downpipe and inlet pipe are recommended for optimal performance, though a 3" inlet is standard, with a supplied sleeve for stock 2.25" inlet hoses. This turbocharger is well-suited for the 2.5L engine, offering enhanced spool-up compared to stock while providing ample airflow for high horsepower targets. For the 2.0L engine, it remains a strong contender for similar HP goals, delivering aggressive power delivery. The dual ball bearing design ensures rapid boost recovery between shifts. Key specifications include a 60mm turbine wheel with an 84 trim and a 76.2mm compressor wheel with a 56 trim. Proper fueling and a professional tune are required after installation to achieve optimal performance. Note that some stock downpipes may cause boost creep due to wastegate flapper clearance issues.
