GT4508R CHRA Service

This product is a Garrett GT4508R CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly). It is a core component of a turbocharger, designed for high-performance custom applications. The Garrett GTX Series turbochargers (a newer generation that includes the GTX4508R) feature forged fully-machined billet aluminum compressor wheels with next-generation aerodynamics for a larger horsepower range and maximized boost response. They also have ported shroud compressor housings for increased surge resistance, a dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge for prolonged lifespan and improved shaft balance, and a water-cooled CHRA to maintain minimum housing temperatures. The turbine wheel is made from Inconel, a Super Alloy, for strength under high exhaust gas temperatures.
