The SPE Motorsport 2020-2022 GT500 Adjustable Auxiliary Idler is a performance upgrade designed to maximize belt wrap and eliminate slippage. It features a CNC-machined billet aluminum bracket and an anodized black idler pulley with Nachi dual high-speed bearings. The adjuster components and hardware are constructed from billet 304 stainless steel. This idler bolts directly to existing supercharger snout bosses, requiring no modifications to the vehicle.

The SPE Motorsport 2020-2022 GT500 Adjustable Auxiliary Idler is engineered to enhance the performance of your Mustang's supercharger system. It features a precision CNC-machined billet aluminum bracket and an extreme-duty idler pulley with dual Nachi high-speed bearings, all anodized black for durability and aesthetics. The adjuster components and hardware are crafted from robust billet 304 stainless steel. This adjustable idler is strategically positioned to bolt onto existing bosses on the vehicle's supercharger snout, placing the pulley just to the left of the main supercharger pulley. This placement maximizes belt wrap, achieving over 270 degrees of coverage, which is crucial for eliminating belt slip, especially when paired with smaller blower pulleys (2.6” and smaller). It is designed to work in conjunction with the SPE GT500 Blower Pulley System and offers adjustability to accommodate varying belt lengths and pulley sizes, ensuring optimal tension and performance. Installation is straightforward, with no modifications to the vehicle required. The idler assembly ships fully assembled, complete with all necessary fasteners and illustrated installation instructions, making for a simple bolt-on process. This upgrade is an ideal companion for those looking to optimize their supercharger system's efficiency and reliability.
