This Garrett GTA2056VK is an OEM replacement turbocharger engineered for diesel engines, specifically the Mercedes Benz OM642.896 V6 CRD Turbo (Euro 4). It is a direct fit for a wide range of vehicles including the Chrysler 300C, Jeep Commander, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and multiple Mercedes-Benz models such as the C-Class, E-Class, G-Class, GL-Class, GLK-Class, M-Class, R-Class, Sprinter, Viano, and Vito. The turbocharger part number is G765155-5008S, and it replaces numerous previous versions including many from the 743507, 757608, and 765155 series. The package includes a gasket kit for installation. It is important to verify your original turbocharger part number against the provided OEM part numbers, which include A6420901480, A6420900280, and others, to ensure compatibility. This turbocharger is noted to be identical to Garrett Part Number 777318-5002W, with the key difference being the absence of a sensor bung in the exhaust turbine housing on this model. The 777318-5002W is typically found on emergency or public service vehicles equipped with the OM642 engine. A gasket kit is included with this turbocharger.
