GTC-200 60.5-Inch Carbon Fiber Rear Wing

The APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Wing is a high-performance aerodynamics component engineered to optimize the aerodynamic balance of performance vehicles, particularly for motorsport and track applications. Its design focuses on high-efficiency downforce generation with minimal drag, aiming to enhance cornering stability, braking performance, and overall high-speed balance. Constructed from pre-impregnated, autoclave-cured carbon fiber with a 2x2 twill weave, this wing offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity to prevent flexing at high speeds. It features a UV-stable clear coat for durability. The airfoil shape has been modeled in 3D and validated using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to ensure balanced performance by improving rear-end stability without excessive drag penalties. The wing's design achieves an impressive 11:1 downforce-to-drag ratio. The GTC-200 boasts a fully adjustable angle of attack, ranging from 0 to 15 degrees, allowing users to precisely tune downforce and drag characteristics based on specific track conditions and performance requirements. Higher angles increase downforce for better cornering grip, while lower angles reduce drag for improved straight-line speed. Supporting the airfoil are 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum risers, which allow for fine-tuning of the wing's height and position for optimal airflow and downforce distribution. Installation involves mounting to the rear of the vehicle and may require drilling. The wing includes stainless steel machine screws, washers, and nuts, as well as application-specific or universal bottom mounting bases. Optional Gurney flaps and different riser heights are also available to further customize aerodynamic performance.
