Overview

The APR Performance GTM GTC-500 is a 71-inch adjustable wing designed for high-speed touring applications. It provides downforce without excessive drag, featuring an aerodynamic 3D airfoil shape. The airfoil is constructed from lightweight and durable carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites, made using pre-preg composite manufacturing processes. The wing is supported by 6061 billet aluminum pedestals with a flat black powder coat finish.
Show original supplier description
The APR Performance GTM GTC-500 adjustable wing is the largest wing in APR's catalog, spanning 71 inches and designed to deliver substantial downforce for high-speed touring applications while minimizing drag. Its aerodynamic 3D airfoil shape has been validated through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to ensure an optimal balance of downforce and reduced drag. The supporting pedestals are crafted from "aircraft grade" 6061 billet aluminum and finished with a durable flat black powder coat. Mounting bases are designed to sit 27.5 inches apart, center-to-center. This wing is noted as being made to order, with a typical lead time of 2-3 weeks. For further information or inquiries, customers can contact the sales team directly. The product description also mentions that mounting can be achieved using carbon fiber bottom plates for vehicle-specific fitment and aluminum bottom plates for universal fitment, indicating a degree of customization for installation.
