GTI BOOST OPERATED BPV - NATURAL

On this page, you are looking at the Boomba Racing Full Recirculating Bypass Valve made specifically for your application. Boomba designed this bypass valve to be a direct replacement for your OEM bypass valve that can become weak and leaky especially if you perform other upgrades that increase boost and more power. This is a boost-operated bypass valve that will also come with everything needed to make this a plug-and-play installation. This is a 100% recirculation operation that is 100% safe to run on those even equipped with Europe Spec/MAF tuned cars. Other features include an ECU-controlled solenoid that will provide the bypass valve with both vacuum and boost pressure. This design will use the boost to close the valve and will keep it sealed no matter what the boost pressure is. With the higher amount of pressure, the stronger it will work to keep the valve closed. The vacuum is used to keep the valve open in this configuration. Because of this combination, the ECU-controlled solenoid will prevent the valve from fluttering or premature opening. This design will also work to help eliminate any unwanted pressure spikes during venting which will help reduce turbo lag and to allow the car to hold boost in a more controlled fashion. When the throttle plate closes it allows excess boost pressure to be vented so that the turbo can continue to spin in higher RPMs rather than creating a surge from the backpressure.
