Description

Developed extensively by BBR and manufactured by a top European valvetrain specialist, these camshaft profiles are utilized in BBR's acclaimed 'Super 220' MX-5 ND upgrade. This package features bespoke inlet and exhaust steel billet camshafts. Diligent testing by BBR has resulted in unique lift and timing specifications. The maximum valve lift is 11.5mm for the inlet and 10.5mm for the exhaust. These camshafts allow the full range of mechanical camshaft (VVT) operation while maintaining a safe valve-to-piston clearance of 1.5mm, compared to the standard 1.6mm.
