Show original supplier description

The VIS Racing GTR Style hood is a premium carbon fiber body panel engineered to enhance the aesthetic of your BMW 3 Series E46 4-door, specifically for model years 2002-2005. Constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood features a top layer bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. Its two-part design includes a one-piece, smooth underside shell that is fused to the top layer, significantly improving structural integrity. Handsmoothing on the edges ensures a refined finish all around. VIS Racing has further advanced their manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which produces parts that are 10-20% lighter while increasing durability, a process they are transitioning their entire carbon fiber line to. This GTR-style hood offers a distinct, race-inspired look for your E46 3 Series. It comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. Please note that hood pins are required for installation due to the unknown nature of intended uses, and this product is intended for off-road use only unless local laws specify otherwise.
