The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood in GTS Style offers an aggressive aesthetic upgrade for your BMW 3 Series (2012-2020) and 4 Series (2014-2019). Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood features a two-part construction. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective Poly Shield polyurethane coating for a high-gloss finish. A smooth, one-piece underside shell is fused to the top layer, enhancing the product's structural integrity and ensuring a quality finish all around. VIS Racing employs a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which utilizes a single-mold vacuum. This advanced manufacturing technique produces parts that are 10-20% lighter than traditional methods while simultaneously improving durability. This process is being transitioned across their full spectrum of carbon parts to offer enhanced performance without a significant cost increase.
