The GTurbo GD-G300 Ball Bearing turbocharger represents the next evolution of the GD-G300 Titan, engineered to deliver enhanced performance for the 1GD-FTV engine. This unit combines a proven GD-G300 Titan compressor with a new ball bearing core and a higher-flow turbine. The design prioritizes faster spool times, stronger mid-range torque, and improved reliability, making it an ideal upgrade for towing, touring, and off-road applications. Key features include advanced aerodynamics for optimized airflow and smoother power delivery, and lower rotational inertia for rapid acceleration and immediate throttle response. The turbocharger is constructed with a super alloy base for exceptional strength and durability under extreme conditions. Furthermore, the compressor wheel is treated with an aerospace-grade, ultra-hard, non-stick TITAN coating to reduce friction and enhance resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. Performance expectations are significant, with a designed boost of 36psi and efficient operation between 16-36psi. When paired with a quality ECU tune and supporting modifications such as an upgraded intercooler, exhaust, airbox, and induction plumbing, the GD-G300 Ball Bearing can achieve substantial gains. Real-world results with an ECU tune can range from 550-600Nm and 160-170rwkW at the wheels, with potential for over 700Nm and 200+rwkW with full supporting modifications. Performance figures are based on turbo-back exhaust systems, and vehicles retaining the factory DPF may see slightly lower results. Important compatibility information is noted for earlier 130kW 1GD-FTV models (2015-2019). For these vehicles, a longer VNT actuator arm, supplied for an additional cost, is required for correct fitment and operation. The turbocharger is compatible with both DPF-equipped and DPF-delete setups. A free 1-year warranty is included, which extends to 2 years when installed with a GTune.
