The GTX250 turbocharger is engineered to provide a significant performance upgrade, capable of delivering 250 horsepower and supporting over 27 pounds per minute of airflow. This unit is designed as a direct replacement for your factory turbocharger, allowing for quick installation without the need for custom piping. Building upon the foundation of the GTX14, the GTX250 distinguishes itself with a redesigned compressor wheel. This wheel is billet CNC machined with an extended tip design, offering superior airflow and durability compared to standard cast compressor wheels. The billet construction from a solid piece of aluminum prevents the air pockets found in cast wheels, ensuring greater strength and reliability. Additionally, an upgraded turbine wheel has been incorporated to further enhance power output capabilities. Installation is straightforward as it is a direct swap with your factory unit. However, larger fuel injectors are required for optimal performance with this turbocharger. The product includes the GTX250 Turbocharger itself, featuring a brand-new OEM GM Turbocharger core with the installed GTX250 Extended Tip Billet Compressor Wheel and a larger turbine wheel. It is laser balanced to 230,000 RPM. Optional upgrades such as porting and polishing the turbine housing, ceramic coating, and powder coating the compressor housing are available to customize performance and aesthetics. The turbocharger comes with a 12-month, unlimited mileage warranty covering defects in parts or workmanship.
