GTX250 Turbocharger

The BNR GTX250 turbocharger is engineered as a high-performance, direct-fit replacement for your factory unit, designed to significantly enhance power output. It boasts a redesigned, extended-tip, billet CNC machined compressor wheel, offering superior airflow and durability compared to conventional cast wheels. This advanced design, coupled with an upgraded turbine wheel, allows the GTX250 to support over 27 pounds per minute of airflow, aiming for a 250HP target. Building upon the proven foundation of the GTX14, the GTX250 features a more robust construction with its billet wheel made from a solid piece of aluminum, mitigating the risk of air pockets found in cast wheels. The extended tip design is rated for over 10% better flow than standard wheels of the same inlet diameter, contributing to its overall performance gains. The turbocharger is laser-balanced to an impressive 230,000 RPM to ensure smooth operation and longevity. However, larger fuel injectors are a requirement when upgrading to the GTX250. The kit includes a brand-new OEM GM turbocharger core, the installed GTX250 Extended Tip Billet Compressor Wheel, a larger turbine wheel, and is laser-balanced. Options for customization such as ported and polished finishes, ceramic coating of the turbine side, and powder coating of the compressor housing are available. BNR states that with their bolt-on parts, BNR tuning, and 93 octane fuel, they achieved 266HP and 304TQ on their in-house dynocom dyno. It's noted that compatibility with tuning other than BNR's may vary, and results published are based on BNR tuning and parts.
