The Garrett GTX3584RS Gen 2 Supercore is a mid-frame turbocharger engineered to deliver between 550 and 1000 horsepower for engines ranging from 2.0L to 5.5L. The unit incorporates a ten-blade GTX Gen II compressor wheel, developed using proprietary simulation software, which enhances air mass flow for a broader power output range. It utilizes a larger 0.72 A/R compressor housing for more efficient air circulation. The 8mm dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge ensures optimal response and reliability by minimizing shaft movement. Garrett has equipped the compressor housings with a fully machined speed sensor port, accepting the Garrett Motion speed sensor (sold separately). This allows tuners to monitor operating conditions crucial for fine-tuning for maximum efficiency. The port is factory-plugged and can be accessed with a 5mm allen key.
