GTX4718R Turbocharger

The Garrett GTX4718R turbocharger is engineered for the serious enthusiast demanding optimal performance. It utilizes forged, fully-machined billet aluminum compressor wheels with advanced aerodynamics, enabling a broader horsepower range of 900-1600 HP and maximizing boost response. Key features include a ported shroud compressor housing to enhance surge resistance for continuous power delivery, and a dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge for increased lifespan and improved shaft balance. The water-cooled CHRA helps maintain lower housing temperatures, while the turbine wheel is constructed from Inconel, a Super Alloy that withstands high exhaust gas temperatures. The compressor wheel specifications include an 87.8mm inducer, 118mm exducer, and a trim of 56, with a 0.69 A/R. The turbine side features a 92.7mm inducer, 84mm exducer, and a trim of 82. This product is offered as a super core, with turbine kits sold separately. It features a V-band compressor outlet configuration and a lightweight billet backplate. A new, fully-machined speed sensor port is also included. Compatibility is noted for engines ranging from 2.5L to 10.0L displacement, making it a versatile option for demanding builds.
