Overview

The BEP 2701A is a 12V battery charger and maintainer designed for long-duration connection to batteries. It can charge batteries from 3 to 40 Ah and maintain batteries from 3 to 125 Ah, supporting Wet, Gel, and AGM battery types. This charger features an energy-saving auto-maintain mode that turns off when the battery is charged and periodically monitors and recharges if the voltage drops below 12.9V.

The unit has a maximum output of 1.5 amps at 12 VDC and operates on a 120 VAC input with a 3-wire grounded AC plug. It includes front-mounted LEDs to indicate power status, charging progress, and completion. For connection, it comes with both ring terminals and alligator clips. The charger is waterproof, shock-resistant, and ignition and polarity protected, with a mountable or portable design. It meets UL 1236 and CSA Standards and is cETLus certified.
