Overview

The Manley H-Beam connecting rod is manufactured from 4340 alloy forgings and is fully machined, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and magnafluxed. These rods were chosen for the Ford SVT Mustang Cobra program in 2003-2004 and the Ford GT Supercar. Sets are weight-matched to ±1.5 grams, with big and small end bores honed to a tolerance of ±.0002".

They undergo a comprehensive machining process, including heat treatment, stress relieving, shot peening, and magnafluxing, to ensure durability and performance. These connecting rods are built with ARP 2000 bolts. These H-Beam rods have a proven track record, having been the exclusive choice for the Ford SVT Mustang Cobra program in 2003-2004 and utilized in the Ford GT Supercar. Manley pays meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each set of connecting rods is weight-matched to ±1.5 grams. The big and small end bores are final honed to a precise tolerance of ±.0002", while critical bend and twist attributes are minimized.
