H-Beam Connecting Rod Set, 21mm Wrist Pin

The Integrated Engineering forged connecting rods are engineered to be a robust upgrade for VW and Audi EA888 Gen 1 & 2 TSI engines, particularly when increasing boost or turbo size. Crafted from vacuum-drawn 2-piece 4340 chrome moly steel with an enhanced H-beam design, these rods significantly boost strength and durability over stock components. Key features include a 21mm wrist pin (requiring aftermarket pistons with a 21mm pin), ARP 2000 rod bolts stamped with an "IE" logo, and a computer-optimized design tailored for VW/Audi applications. Each rod is honed in-house to within 250 millionths of an inch for precise bearing operation, and sets are balanced to within +/- 1 gram. These rods are rated to support up to 700HP in 4-cylinder engines and are a direct replacement for factory rods when used with compatible 21mm wrist pin pistons. They are not compatible with aftermarket pistons featuring a different wrist pin size. Installation recommendations include proper bearing tang orientation towards the exhaust side of the engine. The use of new connecting rod bearings is also recommended. Fitment includes a wide range of Audi models (A4, A4 Allroad, A5, Q5, A6, TT, A3, Q3) and VW models (GTI, Jetta, Jetta GLI, Jetta SportWagen, CC, Passat, Eos, Beetle) from various years, all equipped with EA888 Gen 1 & 2 TSI engines and specific engine codes (CCTA, CCZA, CCZB, CBF, CBFA, CAEB).
