These rods are manufactured using a two-piece forging for increased cap strength and bore stability. They are heat-treated, shot-peened, and machined to exact tolerances, sold as a weight-matched set. Recommended for competition use, they offer superior strength and rigidity for demanding applications.

Constructed from forged 4340 steel, these rods undergo a multi-stage heat treatment process, are X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, and shot-peened to ensure maximum strength and durability. The two-piece forging design enhances cap strength and bore stability, making them suitable for high-power applications. Each rod measures 6.535 inches in length and features a time-proven H-beam design with a double-pass machined cavity for optimal rigidity and minimal weight. They come equipped with ARP2000 capscrew rod bolts, rated at 230,000 psi tensile strength, providing greater reliability and power handling capability. The rods are also equipped with precision cap alignment sleeves and silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models. Pin oiling holes are incorporated into the rod channel for continuous lubrication. These connecting rods are sold as a weight-matched set of 8 and are recommended for competition use, boasting an advertised horsepower rating of 1,200 hp. Custom pistons may be required if using connecting rods longer than the stock length. ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly lube is included with the set. Note that these are not designed for stroker applications and require torque specifications of 75 ft-lbs with ARP moly lube only.
