The Eagle Specialty Products CRS6125O3D is a set of eight H-beam connecting rods designed for high-performance engine applications. Constructed from forged 4340 steel, these rods offer superior strength and reduced weight compared to stock components. Each rod undergoes multi-stage heat treatment, X-ray, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and shot-peening for stress relief and durability.

The Eagle Specialty Products CRS6125O3D H-beam connecting rods are engineered to enhance engine performance and reliability. Crafted from vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these rods provide exceptional strength while being lighter than OEM rods. The manufacturing process includes multi-stage heat treatment, X-ray and sonic testing, magnafluxing, 100 percent machining, and shot-peening to relieve stress and ensure longevity. These connecting rods feature a 6.125-inch center-to-center length and utilize a floating wrist pin style with silicon bronze bushings. They are equipped with ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screws with a tensile strength of 160,000 psi. The big end bore diameter is 2.2250 inches, with a width of 0.940 inches, and the pin end bore diameter is 0.927 inches, with a width of 1.060 inches. They are Magnafluxed and weight-matched as a set of eight, with an advertised horsepower rating of 700 hp and an RPM rating of 7,500 rpm. Precision cap alignment sleeves ensure positive location of each rod cap. While these specific rods are not clearanced for stroker applications, Eagle offers stroker models for increased cam-to-rod clearance. The rods come standard with ARP 8740 rod bolts and include instructions and lubrication. These are 3rd generation (3D) H-beam rods and are not remanufactured.
