The Eagle Specialty Products CRS68003D2000 is a set of forged 4340 steel H-beam connecting rods engineered for high-performance Chevrolet Big Block applications. These rods are built to handle significant power, featuring robust construction with ARP 2000 bolts for enhanced durability and clamping force. Each connecting rod measures 6.8 inches from center to center and is precision machined to exact tolerances. The design includes a bushed big end, suitable for full-floating piston pins, ensuring proper fitment and reduced wear. The housing bore is 2.325 inches, and the rod journal size is 2.2 inches, with a big end width of 0.99 inches. The pin size is 0.99 inches, and the pin end width is 1.125 inches. These rods are sold as a weight-matched set to ensure optimal engine balance and performance. Important installation considerations include torquing the ARP 2000 bolts to 75 ft-lbs using ARP moly lube exclusively. These connecting rods are recommended for competition use and are not intended for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.
