These connecting rods are x-rayed and ultrasonically tested, with all surfaces shot-peened and stress-relieved. They feature a special doweled cap for precise alignment and extra clearance for stroker applications. The PCE H-beam connecting rods are suitable for supercharged and nitrous applications.

The Speedmaster PCE274.1028 H-beam connecting rods are a robust upgrade for Chevy SBC 350 engines, built to withstand demanding performance applications. Constructed from high-strength 4340 chromoly steel, these rods are designed for superior durability. The H-beam design is one of the strongest available, making them an ideal choice for enthusiasts planning supercharged or nitrous-equipped builds. Each rod undergoes rigorous quality control, including x-ray and ultrasonic testing, ensuring structural integrity. The surfaces are shot-peened and stress-relieved to enhance fatigue life. These connecting rods feature a 6.000-inch center-to-center length and a 2.100-inch journal diameter with a .927-inch wrist pin bore. They also incorporate a special doweled cap for precise cap-to-rod alignment, crucial for maintaining proper engine geometry. Additionally, they are profiled with extra clearance, which is beneficial for stroker engine applications. Each rod includes a bronze bushing for the wrist pin, further contributing to their performance and longevity. These are specifically designed for the Chevy SBC 350 platform.
