Overview

The Eagle Specialty Products H-Beam Connecting Rods are constructed from forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel. Each rod undergoes a multi-stage heat-treatment, X-ray, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and shot-peening process for stress relief and strength. These rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves and silicon bronze bushings for floating pins.

Constructed from 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these rods offer superior strength while being lighter than stock components. Each connecting rod is subjected to a rigorous multi-stage heat-treatment process, followed by X-ray, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and 100 percent machining. The final shot-peening treatment further stress-relieves the metal, ensuring maximum resilience under demanding conditions. These H-beam connecting rods have a center-to-center length of 6.135 inches and utilize 7/16-inch ARP 8740 chromoly steel bolts with a 190,000 psi tensile strength rating. The big end bore diameter is 2.3250 inches, with a big end width of 0.990 inches, and the wrist pin style is floating with a 0.990-inch pin end bore diameter. They are Magnafluxed for quality assurance and are sold individually.
