The Eagle Specialty Products H-Beam Connecting Rods are forged from 4340 steel for high strength and reduced weight. Each rod is subjected to a rigorous multi-stage heat-treatment process, including X-ray, sonic, and magnaflux testing, and then shot-peened to relieve stress.

They have a center-to-center length of 6.800 inches and are rated for up to 850 hp at 7,500 rpm. They come with ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screws.

The Eagle Specialty Products CRS68003D is a set of H-beam connecting rods constructed from forged 4340 steel, designed to offer superior strength while being lighter than stock rods. This material undergoes a comprehensive multi-stage heat-treatment process, including X-ray, sonic-testing, and magnafluxing, followed by shot-peening to ensure maximum stress relief and durability for demanding engine applications. Engineered for Big Block Chevy engines, these rods measure 6.800 inches from center to center and boast an advertised horsepower rating of 850 hp at 7,500 rpm. They are equipped with precision cap alignment sleeves for accurate placement and feature silicon bronze bushings to accommodate floating wrist pins. Each set includes ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screws with a tensile strength of 160,000 psi, ensuring reliable component connection. The rods are weight-matched to +/- 805 grams for balanced engine rotation and are magnafluxed for quality assurance. It's important to note that these connecting rods are not clearanced for stroker applications. The set includes ARP 7/16 inch, 12-point 8740 chromoly steel bolts, and instructions with rod bolt lubrication are provided.
