The Eagle Nissan SR20 Connecting Rods are engineered for high-performance applications, offering a robust solution for engine builds demanding increased power and reliability. Constructed from a two-piece forging of vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these H-beam rods provide exceptional strength while remaining lighter than stock components. Each rod undergoes a rigorous multi-stage heat-treatment process, followed by X-ray inspection, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and 100 percent machining. The shot-peening process is applied to stress-relieve the metal, further enhancing durability. These connecting rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves for accurate rod cap positioning and silicon bronze bushings suitable for floating pin designs. Designed with competition use in mind, these rods are clearanced for stroker applications, allowing for additional cam-to-rod clearance in large stroke combinations. They come standard with ARP 2000 rod bolts, rated at 230,000 psi tensile strength, with options for ARP L-19 bolt upgrades. The product is sold individually, and a weight-matched set is not guaranteed. Note that the engine block may require clearancing for proper fitment.
