The Manley Connecting Rod is a high-performance internal engine component engineered for LS1, LS2, and LS6 applications. Constructed from forged 4340 steel alloy, it offers exceptional strength and reliability. The H-beam design provides a compact uniform-grain structure for ultimate durability. This connecting rod features a 6.125-inch center-to-center length, a 2.225-inch big end bore, and a 0.9281-inch pin bore, honed to a precise +/-.0002-inch tolerance. It is equipped with 7/16" ARP 8740 alloy rod bolts. Each rod set is meticulously weight-matched to within 2 grams to ensure balanced engine operation. These connecting rods are rated for up to 725 HP for oval track applications and 750 HP for drag racing. They are heat-treated, stress-relieved, shot-peened, and 100% magnafluxed for maximum strength and fatigue resistance. Applications include the 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette Base, 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird Formula, and the 2004 Pontiac GTO Base. Please note that Manley products are sold without warranty due to their intended high-performance use.
