Description

Constructed from aircraft-quality 4340 chromoly steel, these rods undergo x-ray and ultrasonic testing, with a shot-peened finish to improve fatigue life. They feature a doweled cap for accurate alignment and are profiled with extra clearance for stroker crankshaft applications. Each rod measures 6.385 inches center-to-center and includes ARP 2000 chromoly steel cap screws with a 7/16-inch diameter, boasting a fastener yield strength of 200,000 psi. The wrist pin style is floating, and the pin end bore diameter is 0.990 inches, with a big end width of 0.990 inches. These connecting rods are weight-matched and Magnafluxed to ensure the highest quality and reliability for your engine build. These rods are rated for up to 850 horsepower at 8,500 RPM, making them a robust choice for demanding builds. They are sold as a set of 8 and are designed to work with a 2.200-inch rod journal diameter.
