The KingTec Racing RN14 forged connecting rods are engineered for high-performance engines, specifically designed for the Mini Cooper S R56 with the N14 1.6L Prince turbo engine. These rods are a critical component for racing pistons and crankshafts, built to withstand the demands of motorsport. Constructed from 4340 (40CrNiMoA) aircraft-quality steel, the RN14 rods provide enhanced strength and reliability. Each rod undergoes rigorous testing, including Magnaflux, X-Ray, and Sonic testing, to ensure the highest quality standards. The H-beam design contributes to a lighter weight while maintaining structural integrity. Precision is paramount in engine components, and these rods are CNC machined to exact sizes and angles. The surfaces are shot-peened to relieve stress, further enhancing their durability. The set is well-balanced, with weight tolerances of +/-1.5g, ensuring smooth engine operation.
