H-Beam Forged Connecting Rod Set for EA888 Gen 1 & 2 TSI

When increasing power output on your VW/Audi EA888 Gen 1 & 2 TSI engine, the factory connecting rods can become a weak link. These rods are rated to support up to 700 HP. Constructed from vacuum-drawn, two-piece 4340 chrome moly steel, these connecting rods feature an upgraded H-beam design for enhanced strength, durability, stiffness, and rigidity. Each rod is computer-optimized for unique VW/Audi engine applications and honed in-house to exacting tolerances for proper bearing operation. They are balanced to within +/- 1 gram and magnaflux inspected to ensure extreme reliability. The rods come with IE Spec ARP 2000 rod bolts stamped with "IE" for authenticity. Installation requires specific attention to detail. The rods feature a 21mm wrist pin, intended for use only with aftermarket 21mm pistons. It is crucial to note that these connecting rods are NOT compatible with aftermarket pistons; they are designed for use with factory 21mm tapered wrist pin pistons only. When installing, the bearing tangs should face the exhaust side of the engine. ARP 2000 rod bolts require a specific torque procedure of 50 ft/lbs, verified with a stretch gauge to .006” of stretch or by following a multi-step torque-and-loosen process. New connecting rod bearings are highly recommended for installation. These rods are designed for a wide range of VW and Audi models including the A4, A5, Q5, A6, TT, A3, Q3, GTI, Jetta, CC, Passat, EOS, and Beetle, specifically for EA888 Gen 1 & 2 TSI engines with engine codes CCTA, CCZA, CCZB, CBF, CBFA, and CAEB. The maximum recommended RPM limit is 8500 with ARP 2000 bolts; for higher RPMs, upgrading to ARP 625+ bolts is advised.
