Description

The H&R Rear Sway Bar for the E39 540i is a larger 18mm diameter sway bar designed to provide more leverage to better control body motions and keep the tires planted squarely on the pavement. This sway bar reduces body roll and weight transfer, improving handling, grip, and steering response. It fits in the stock locations with original sway bar links and includes H&R's exclusive Teflon-lined urethane bushings that require no grease or maintenance. This upgrade fits the rear axle.
