H Series Main Bearing Set

The Clevite MS-2339H H Series main bearings are engineered for performance applications, particularly suited for competition engines operating at medium to high RPMs, including NASCAR racing. These bearings feature a Tri-Metal construction, integrating a robust steel backing with a copper-lead alloy layer and a slipperiness-enhancing babbitt metal overlay, providing an optimal balance of strength and surface characteristics. A key design element is the inclusion of enlarged chamfers on the sides of the bearings, which ensure greater clearance at the crankshaft fillets. Furthermore, these bearings are manufactured without flash plating to promote better seating against the crankshaft. They are specifically recommended for use with crankshafts that have oversized fillets. This standard-size main bearing set is compatible with 2014+ GM/Chevy Gen V 6.2L engines, including L86, LT1, and LT4 variants. While commonly associated with trucks like the Silverado and Sierra, they also fit performance vehicles such as the 6th Gen Camaro, C7 Corvette, and 3rd Gen CTS-V equipped with the Gen V LT platform.
