H-Series Main Bearing Set

The Clevite H Series Tri-Metal Main Bearings (MS-2039H) are high-performance engine bearings developed for demanding applications, including NASCAR-type racing. These bearings utilize an exclusive three-layer design, combining a strong copper-lead alloy layer with a precision steel back layer and a protective electroplated white metal "babbitt" surface layer. They feature a medium level of eccentricity, high crush, and a hardened steel back with a thin overlay for optimal performance. These bearings are made without flash plating to ensure better seating. Suitable for a wide range of Mitsubishi 4G63 engines, these main bearings are recommended for performance modifications and race engine builds. Applications include the Mitsubishi Evo (1992-2006), Eclipse (1990-1999), Eagle Talon (1990-1998), and Plymouth Laser (1990-1994), as well as other vehicles equipped with Mitsubishi 4G63 engines.
