H22/F20B/H23 VTEC Cam Trigger Kit

The KS Tuned H22/F20B/H23 VTEC Cam Trigger Kit enables a transition from the OEM Honda distributor's magnetic sensors to a more accurate Hall Effect sensor. This digital signal is a requirement for nearly all contemporary ECUs, such as AEM, Motec, and Haltech, and is often read more effectively, leading to a smoother idle and enhanced high-RPM power. The kit includes a billet sensor bracket and a modified Crower cam gear, which is precisely machined and fitted with rare earth magnets. This setup facilitates the elimination of the factory distributor when employing a multi-channel CDI box and individual coils, though it can also be used with a single-channel ignition box and the original distributor. The included Dual Pole Hall sensor functions as both a cam and crank sensor. Installation and tuning support are available from KS Tuned for this product. The cam trigger kit is functionally comparable to the T1 cam trigger kit designed for B-series engines. Proper implementation of this kit allows for precise engine timing inputs, crucial for optimized performance and compatibility with advanced engine management systems.
