The KS Tuned H22 Tensioner Pulley with Walk Blocker (KST-1036) is engineered to solve the common issue of timing belts walking off cam gears, especially when a tighter belt tension is necessary for aftermarket camshafts. This unit integrates a brand-new OEM Koyo tensioner bearing with the proprietary KS Tuned Walk Blocker. The Walk Blocker serves as an additional guide for the timing tensioner pulley, effectively preventing the timing belt from dislodging from the cam gears. This is a crucial component for maintaining engine timing integrity, particularly in performance applications where belt tension may exceed stock specifications to eliminate flopping. This product is compatible with H22, F20b, and H23 VTEC (Bluetop) engines. It is recommended to replace the tensioner arm bushing during installation for optimal performance and longevity.
