H22 Turbo Kit with PT5558 Turbocharger

The Treadstone H22 Turbo Kit is a comprehensive performance upgrade designed for the Honda Prelude equipped with the H22 engine. This kit utilizes a Precision PT5558 ball-bearing turbocharger, featuring a T3 inlet, V-band outlet, and a 0.63 A/R for optimized airflow and spool characteristics. The core of the system is built around a durable Treadstone cast manifold, paired with a PTE GEN2 39MM wastegate to precisely manage boost pressure. Cooling and air delivery are handled by a Treadstone TR8 intercooler, complemented by a 2.5-inch polished aluminum pipe kit. The kit includes a stainless steel downpipe, though fabrication and welding will be required to connect it to your existing exhaust system. A complete oil feed and return line kit ensures proper lubrication for the turbocharger, while Treadstone silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps provide secure connections for all intake plumbing. A high-flow air filter is supplied, with an option to upgrade to a K&N unit for enhanced filtration and airflow. All necessary mounting hardware is included for a complete installation. It's important to note that no fuel components are included, as fuel management strategies vary widely. Users will need to consider upgrades such as larger fuel injectors, an FMU, piggyback controllers, or full programmable engine management to safely support the increased airflow. Additionally, the kit has provisions for HKS/Tial blow-off valves, which must be purchased separately.
