The Hertz HCP 1DK is a high-power mono Class D amplifier engineered to deliver exceptional performance for subwoofer applications within car audio systems. Its design prioritizes efficiency with a minimized size heat sink, ensuring reliable operation even under load, reaching temperatures around 80°C (176°F). Featuring a comprehensive set of controls, the HCP 1DK includes a complete crossover system with Hi-Pass pre-amplified outputs. It also offers Subsonic, Bass Boost, and Phase controls, allowing for fine-tuning of your bass response. This mono amplifier can deliver substantial power, rated at 320 watts RMS at 4 ohms and up to 550 watts RMS at 2 ohms, with a maximum current draw of 25A.
