The Alpine Halo11 iLX-F511 is a digital multimedia receiver designed with an 11-inch adjustable floating-style display, offering flexible installation with its standard 1-DIN chassis. The display itself features a WXGA 1280 x 720px (720p HD) resolution and can be adjusted for height, depth, and viewing angle, complemented by a tapered housing and silver trim for a modern aesthetic. This receiver is equipped for high-fidelity audio experiences, supporting Hi-Res Audio playback at 96kHz/24bit and wireless Hi-Res Audio playback with compatible LDAC devices. It integrates seamlessly with popular streaming services like TIDAL, Apple Music, and Amazon Music HD. Connectivity options include wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing access to smartphone functions such as navigation, music, and messaging. A built-in Bluetooth hands-free system and HD Radio tuner further enhance entertainment options. The iLX-F511 includes advanced onboard audio tuning features, such as a 13-band parametric EQ per channel and 6-channel time correction for precise sound staging. It also offers three sets of 4V preamp outputs for system expansion. For added convenience and safety, the unit is compatible with the Alpine DVR-C320R Dash Cam and supports aftermarket cameras via two direct inputs. Additionally, it can retain select factory controls when paired with an iDatalink Maestro Module, providing access to vehicle information like steering wheel controls and tire pressure. It's important to note that some features require additional components or subscriptions. Wireless Hi-Res Audio requires an LDAC compatible device. TIDAL streaming requires a separate subscription and the head unit must be tethered to a smartphone hotspot. SiriusXM-Ready with 360L requires the SXV300 Tuner and a SiriusXM subscription, both sold separately. The KTX-NS01 GPS Navigation Module is also compatible, but firmware updates are required, and it cannot be used in conjunction with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
