The Flyin' Miata Happy Meal is a comprehensive clutch and flywheel kit engineered to enhance the performance of your 1990-2005 Miata, including 1.6L engine models. This kit includes a Flyin' Miata clutch and a Flyin' Miata flywheel, providing a matched set for optimal integration. It also comes with essential components such as a clutch switch override, pilot bearing, and release bearing. You have the option to select either the Level 1 or Level 2 clutch specification. The Level 1 clutch is rated for 318 lb-ft of torque at the crank, making it suitable for stock or lightly modified engines. For more demanding applications, the Level 2 clutch boasts a higher rating of 353 lb-ft of torque at the crank and features a steelback copper woven organic friction material, offering robust performance and engagement. The Happy Meal features a new friction disc design with a thinner disc and a lower profile marcel spring, which reduces pedal throw and minimizes the need for pedal adjustments. The lightweight flywheel may introduce some harmless drivetrain noise during closed-throttle deceleration. Flyin' Miata recommends bypassing the starter interlock on the clutch and suggests replacing seals and using their installation tool for the rear crank seal while the transmission is out, to ensure a smooth and reliable installation. Additionally, note that 5-speed transmissions require the transmission input gasket, while 6-speeds do not. This kit is compatible with a wide range of Miata models, specifically fitting the 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2004 MSM, 2005, and 2005 MSM models.
